Our theme for 2008 is "Obedience to God despite the costs." I Samuel 15:22 says "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice." Throughout the year, we will be looking at areas of our lives where we can be obedient to God.
Our church has recently adopted the "Acts 1:8 Challenge." We are planning a variety of missions projects for "Jerusalem (local), Judea (region), Samaria (nation), and the ends of the world." Our goal is to have everyone involved in some kind of mission project during the year. You can look under mission opportunities on our web page to find out more.
