We call the Bible “God’s Word” because we understand It to be a special collection of His very thoughts. Part of the wonder and mystery surrounding the Bible is that is that it is a supernatural work of God (Hebrews 4.12; 2 Peter 1.20-21; Revelation 22.18-19). Far too often people think of the Bible as a random set of stories, when in fact, the sixty-six books God has gathered serve one overarching purpose: to testify of the person and work of His one-of-a-kind son, Jesus (John 1.1-4; 2 Timothy 3.14-17). No matter where you are in your life and faith journey, the living God will bless you for spending time in His Word.
